2021 Poetry Accomplishments
January 21, 2022Memoir Group Ceremony & Poetry Updates!!
August 22, 2022It is exciting when a small section of my memoir writing is accepted, especially when it is by a medical univeristy!
The Muse McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, published my essay, “My Body: An Experiment in Longevity” in their Winter 2022 Issue 14.
Working on my memoir with the warm and lovely Anne Liu Keller, with eight women writers, has been such a gift. I’m learning so much and making progress on my manuscript that is now in second draft form and will be in third draft by the end of the workshop.

“Reflections on a Plague Year,” and “Unresolved Mother,” were published in Feels Blind Literary on March 24, 2022.
A Guide to Creative Writing and the Imagination, Kris Saknussemm, published by Routledge Taylor & Frances Group (Routledge is a global publisher of academic books, journals and online resources in the humanities and social sciences) is available now! My writing on Poetry, including a poem, composes a chapter in this book.
Kris Saknussemm and I met at the first Writers’ Edge Conference in Portland, OR, in 2006. I am thrilled he asked to interview me for this collarboative educational book.
