Ice Cream Poems in time for summer!

Right as summer arrived, the anthology ICE CREAM POEMS: reflections on life with ice cream, edited by poet Patricia Fargnoli, was published by World Enough Writers an imprint of Concrete Wolf. My poem “Ice Cream Cravings” is included in this excellent anthology. With 125 poems from 27 states and 6 countries, I’m pleased to have my work alongside so many excellent poets, a few include Carol Levin, Susan Rich, Lori Desrosiers, Lana Hechtman Ayers, Esther Altshul Helfgoff, Penelopy Scambly Schott, Kelli Russell Agondon, Tara Betts…

Bookmonger wrote a review, which highlighted my description in this paragraph:

“Yes, there is poetry in savoring ice cream — it’s part technique, and part flair. This reader would have been just as happy without quite so many mentions of tongues in these pages, but in the end there’s no denying the importance of what Julene Tripp Weaver identifies in her poem, “Ice Cream Cravings,” as part of the ice cream-eating experience: “a tongue-feel, a throat index measure.”
